ZANZIBAR TOURS

Zanzibar, once renowned by explorers such as Livingstone and Stanley for its fascinating history, romantic stories of kings and princesses, racial mix, peace and tranquillity, is a paradise for those whishing to excape from the stresses of the Western world. It is a heaven for those who love swimming, water sports and game fishing, as both islands are endowed with silver and beaches, coral reefs and virgin marine life.

As for history, culture and art, Zanzibar is the meeting point of Africa, Asia, the middle east and Europe. The Old Stone Town, with its fascinating architecture, was declared by UNESCO a 'World Heritage Site' in the year 2000.

To the eco-tourist, one has the chance to visit the spice plantations, swimming with dolfins and touring the unique Jozani Forest Reserve to see the rare Red Colobus monkeys.

Just the name Zanzibar, evokes dreams of romance and mastery and the reality will not disappoint the traveler bored with mass tourism and seeking an enlightening and enjoyable holiday experience.


Day 1 After breakfast, The Stone town is the oldest Part of Zanzibar town built on a 95 acres peninsula and consisting of 2500 buildings all made of coral stone, clay and lime, thus giving its name.
This is the most interesting part of town with its narrow lanes and its 45 mosques, 2 Christians churches and 4 Hindu Halls. The tour also includes short walks that enable the clients to explore the fascinating historical of old parts of the Zanzibar town, the tour will include a visit to the Former slave market (The Anglican Cathedral), the Historical and natural history museums of Zanzibar, the house of wonders, the old fort, Dr. Livingstone House, the old Central Market of Zanzibar, Maruhubi palace ruins etc.

Break for lunch at 13:00 hrs at Tembo Hotel

After lunch at 14:30hrs a half day driving trip for a guided Spice tour in the countryside of the Island. This is a site seeing trip reveal the wonderful nature which involves frequent stops on small farms of cash crops, food crops, spices, flowering trees and plants, medical trees and varieties of mints. The tour will cover and area of 20 kms crossing many villages such as Bububu, Kijichi and Kizimbani north wards of Stone Town. Clients will be able to see, touch smell and even taste some of the spices and fruits available on the Island. The trip also offers invitingly attractive photographic scenery on the fruit gardens mud houses thatched with coconut palm leaves and the living style of Zanzibar is in the country side areas.

Proceed to Breezes Beach Club at 17:30hrs for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 After breakfast (08:00hrs) A full day dolphing Tour excursion on a traditional dhow and see various species of dolphins including spinner bottle nose and blue dolphins at a very close range within touching distance. Our dhows are equipped with snorkeling equipment, sun shelters and modern life jackets. The tour will also takes clients out to the coral reef where can enjoy some of the most remarkable snorkeling. Different species of coral and other marine can also be seen.
This tour will include also the transfers to Kizimkazi (Jozani) some one and half drive (70km) Lunch with cold soft drinks and fruits will be served on the sand beach of Kizimkazi (Jozani). Food is buffet and will includes rice, potato chips, chapati, squids sources, half lobster, fish and coffee.

Day 3 After breakfast at 10:00hrs. A half day boat trip to this small resort and it takes thirty five minutes to reach the Island. Historically Island was used as point of concealment of slaves later became a temporary hospital and a quarantine island especially during the outbreak of contagious diseases in the last century.

The Island is endowed with natural features attractive while sand beach for swimming and the colourful coral reef for snorkeling. A number of giant tortoises, durker different birds can easily be seen in the island.

Return to Breezes Beach Club

Day 4 Early morning transfer to Dar es salaam for day at leisure and shopping if needed.Dinner and overnight at Karibu Hotel.
